EFOH: the organisation
 

Scientific Committee

A group of internationally renown occupational physicians, from the main regions of the European Union, constitutes an International Scientific Committee to prepare meetings and courses.
The Scientific Committee suggests topics for the meetings and courses . Its members will also play a part in the search for excellent teachers and in developing the teaching materials.

Members of the Scientific Committee are:

  3. Professor Mauritio Manno
    Professor of Occupational Medicine, University of Naples Federico II, Naples Italy
  4. Professor Begoña Martínez Jarreta
    Faculty of Medicine, University of Zaragoza, Zaragoza, Spain
  5. Professor Alain Cantineau

All three have extensive experience in the field of occupational medicine training. They are, or have been, actively involved in ICOH, UEMS and EASOM and are involved in international occupational health projects.

Low Cost

The European Forum on Occupational Health is not primarily aimed at profit, and based in the Netherlands. We are all working part-time for EFOH, and some staff members work on a voluntary basis.This means the EFOH has a extreme low overhead costs, which leads to low attendance fees for participants.
