Terms and conditions of EFOH

Scope of Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions regulate the contractual relationship between course participants and the European Forum on Occupational Health, part of the Foundation Health Progress , referred to as the "EFOH" in the following.

Booking Conditions

All course bookings must be made in writing (per e-mail, contactform, fax or letter). The applicant will receive a confirmation of this booking. Once the confirmation of the booking is received by the participant, it constitutes a contract with EFOH. Enrolment in the course is guaranteed, when EFOH has received the full course fee.

Payment

The fee of the course will be invoiced once the booking has been confirmed. Payment of the full course fee is required within three weeks after the date the invoice was sent.
There are no discounts, beside the published 'earlybird discount.' In case of an entry to an event at a later date a reduction of the course fee is not foreseen, the same applies for an early withdrawal.
Course prices exclude travel, accommodation and any other incidental expenses incurred by a participant.
Payment can be made only by bank transfer to EFOH. Further details are available on request.
All payments must be made in Euros.
The course fee covers training, course materials and, a certificate.

Confirmation

Once the EFOH has received payment, he will post, fax or email confirmation of the course. Until payment is received in full, confirmation cannot be given.

EFOH Responsibility

In case a course is held at EFOH facilities, EFOH has to ensure that refreshments are provided during the day. The participants have to pay the other expenses during the day (lunch).

Cancellation and Change of the Course Programme

All cancellations by the client must be made in writing. For cancellations prior to 6 (six) weeks of the commencement of the course 25% of the course fee will be charged; for cancellations within 6 (six) weeks prior to the commencement of the course 100% of the course fee are due, thus the paid costs will not be refunded.
Substitutions of delegates may be made at any time by notifying the operating agent in writing.
The full course fee will be charged if a participant does not turn up on the day of the course.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course. In the event of this happening, the customer will be informed accordingly and in time, and offered a full refund of already paid fees. Further claims are excluded.
We also reserve the right to substitute prior announced lecturers with equivalent personnel, and the right to make minor changes to the course programme if necessary under the condition that the overall character of the course remains unchanged.
In case of cancellation of the course due to a lecturers' illness or to force majeure, execution of the course cannot be claimed.

Copyright

It is acknowledged that all intellectual property rights, including copyright, remain the sole property of EFOH and any tape recordings or copies made of course materials will be an infringement of copyright unless agreed in advance and in writing by EFOH.

Liability

All information provided by EFOH is given in best faith and EFOH or the operating agent will not be held responsible for actions taken by the participant, any other individual or organisation as a result of the information provided during the training course.
Other than in respect of liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, EFOH shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including without limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or your liabilities to third parties) which you may suffer arising out of or in connection with the course.
The EFOH is not held liable for any losses or damages of items that are brought to the course.

Place of Jurisdiction

The place of jurisdiction is the venue of EFOH and Healthy Progress, which is Doorn, the Netherlands.
